Spanish
As members of the Primary Languages Network, we implement a curriculum that is progressive throughout Key Stage Two. Within the scheme of work, planning and resources are designed to maximise the skills and experience of the teacher delivering the language lessons. Spanish is taught in weekly, discrete lessons covering one unit per half term. In MFL, skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in another language are developed through a multi-sensory approach, such as rhymes, songs, stories and repetition.

Curriculum Impact Statements
Our curriculum impact statements celebrate the success of our children, showcasing how our rich and inspiring curriculum empowers them to thrive, achieve their full potential, and develop learners who excel at Gorsefield. They reflect the meaningful progress our children make and our commitment to continuous growth and excellence. We use the Curriculum Impact Statements to feed into the school development plan and ensure that our teaching continually evolves to meet the needs of all learners, driving high standards, equity, and a passion for learning, within Spanish, across key stage two.
